Andre van Breda is heartbroken by the judgment that found his nephew Henri guilty of killing his father, mother, and brother, and seriously injuring his sister, but is glad to have closure over what happened at De Zalze in 2015. "The family respects the court decision and accepts it," said Andre van Breda by telephone on Tuesday. "It's heart-breaking," said Van Breda, but he said the family was grateful to finally have closure. "It's very emotional," he said. Six suspects alleged to have colluded and stolen more than R3m from a Nedbank branch in the North West Province have been arrested, the Hawks said on Tuesday. The Hawks Priority Violent Crimes Unit arrested the group in Klerksdorp and Upington in connection with the bank robbery that took place in April. The owner of a South African hunting company was indicted this month in Colorado by federal prosecutors, who accuse the man of bribing Zimbabwean government officials while guiding a Colorado tourist on a hunt for elephants and working to have the ivory tusks of an elephant the group illegally killed inside a national park imported to the US. Prosecutors said 44-year-old Hanno van Rensburg took a client to the area around Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe to hunt elephants in 2015. The Colorado client shot one elephant that did not die. The hunting party then tracked the animal into the national park but could not find it, according to prosecutors. The Hawks have arrested a 43-year-old man in North West province, allegedly with more than R1.5m worth of drugs, an official said on Tuesday. Frank Nwaru was held in custody after making a brief appearance in the Klerksdorp Magistrate's Court on Monday, Hawks spokesperson Captain Tlangelani Rikhotso said. Nwaru was arrested by the Hawks' Narcotics Enforcement Bureau after a tip-off of alleged drug dealing near a primary school. Almost 75% of prospective new car owners say their purchase decision will be influenced by whether a car has been crash tested – and safety rated. This is one of the findings of a new survey recently conducted by the Automobile Association (AA). And, 81% of these prospective buyers say the ratings of vehicles will also influence their decision if they are presented with two similar vehicles with different safety ratings.
